This branch was inaugurated in 1921 to carry out the aim of the Royal British Legion: to help those currently serving and veterans of the armed forces and their families in times of need. This is still relevant today.
Besides organising the Remembrance Services in the villages, the branch also has a social side, where members and guests enjoy coach outings, social evenings and the annual Christmas dinner, as well as fundraising events.
New members are always warmly welcomed – if you are interested in joining or would simply like to find out more, please contact any of the committee members.
The Poppy Collection this year will begin on Friday, 28th October. There will also be a Poppy Stall at the Budgens supermarket store, Bluntisham, on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th of November.
